They are mounted on cars without any roof rails, with caps and factory holes with a nut or thread, with a diameter of 6 or 8mm. They can also be mounted on thicker diameters, but the screws in the set are 6 and 8mm, and in that case, you will need to purchase them separately. They can also be mounted on cars with factory rail holes; for this purpose, you may only need to purchase washers with a diameter equal to the inner diameter of the channel.
